We've had many different kinds of clients over the past few years. We want to share some client success stories with you, under a strict confidentiality clause, so no names or identities are disclosed.
One of our first clients was mourning her mother's death, and every time she opened her mother's boxes she would break down and be unable to let go. She hired us and gave us all the boxes. We sorted, donated what could be donated, and filed and digitized a whole lot of important documents. “Sahiba is my go to person when I need organization. She took a difficult project and figured out a way to organize it, that I hadn't even considered,” she told us.
A couple got married and moved from two one-bedroom apartments into a single one-bedroom, with a whole life of belongings, wedding gifts, and two home offices. We didn't just help them organize the entire apartment, we helped them live together. “The place was completely overwhelming and insurmountable, or so we thought,” they said. “Now everything has a home, everything is labeled, and the overwhelming, insurmountable chaos is gone.”
A senior citizen wanted us to be her right-hand woman to declutter and organize her home to create space for her long-distance partner. Her mobility was limited, so we worked in short sessions. We helped her sell clothes through consignment stores so she could earn some money from the process.
We were hired by a very organized homemaker and her husband who had downsized and moved closer to their children after the husband underwent surgery. We can't forget the day he was so ecstatic when we taught him how to fold his clothes. “She figured how much time it would take and made numerous visits to our home to guide us in finding space for everything and organizing our entire condo,” they shared.
We've also worked with multiple small business owners whose offices, some at home and some commercial, were drowning in paper, and helped several clients clear out storage units so they could stop paying to store things they'd never use, finding the right resources to sell paintings, furniture, and crockery along the way.
We worked with a young woman to organize a rented room and create space for all her hobbies. “She helped me clean, declutter, and organize my room full of 9 years of stuff, and my very cluttered bathroom shelf. My room feels twice as big,” she said. We also helped first-time parents move and set up their kitchen: “Thanks to her ideas, we have an easy to access, practically organized kitchen.”
More recently, we've started integrating coaching skills into our practice, helping a family of four figure out how to communicate and divide daily chores so household work isn't carried by one person alone, and coaching a new business owner to figure out what was getting in her way. All of our clients are different, and we love working with them in person. We have lots still to learn, and just as much to share.
